Scores of protestors, including Nigerian nationals in Ghana, thronged the Nigeria High Commission in solidarity with the protests against police brutality in Nigeria.
One protestor who spoke to Citi News complained about the lack of restraint from the widely reviled Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of under the Nigeria police service.
“Their incompetence can make them kill for nothing,” he said
Because of the threat of SARS, the protestors said some of them are in “exile” in Ghana for fear of their safety.
“All we are calling for is for an end to police brutality in Nigeria and give a voice to Nigerian youth,” the protestor added.

In the words of Professor Lumumba “When Nigeria wakes up, Africa will never be the same again.”
We are observing something that has never happened before and I believe that this uprising will bring out the sleeping giants and stars in Nigeria and beyond. To those Ghanaians who stand with time of darkness we thank you, we only hope and pray that at the end is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
To all those who can and choose to protest, Please maintain all safety measures and stay safe, wear your face masks and use your hand sanitizers, do not give the give our government the chance to undermine our struggle.
There are fears that the Nigerian government plans to use the pandemic to rationalize use of excessive brute force against protesters, please do not give them the chance.
ONE NIGERIA, ONE AFRICA, ONE RACE!
